Stay healthy, do yoga and record a tutorial!
Namaste to you my dear readers,
Today I'm here to give you an introduction to a tutorial that will change your life and no I'm not exaggerating. Our task was to record a how-to-do video for our students. My amazing partner Gülce has been doing yoga for 2 years so as soon as we heard the task we knew what to do. Gülce recorded our video in "Teachers' Park" in Kadıköy which was a cute coincidence so I thought I'd mention it. I did the voice-over for the video and explained each move Gülce made.
We wrote ourselves a script to stay within the time limit and match my voice-over to my partner's moves. Since we had different clips for each yoga pose, we used Canva to put the clips together and then we added transition between them that guaranteed there wouldn't be hard breaks between clips. After putting the clips together we deleted the original video sound and used Canva's "add sound" feature to record my voice-over. I recorded the instructions in a soundproof room and not to brag about it but you can hear the quality of the sound. If you find the right tool it is a smooth process, I'd say check Canva out.
I think this is a great task we should give our students more often because after completing this task I'm thinking about starting yoga using our tutorial, which you should check out immediately. Even though I thought this progress would be painful it was quite easy and fun to do. Tell me what you think about our tutorial and this homework in general.
Stay safe, namaste (I don't know if the word namaste is a greeting or a farewell sorry!)
