On a baguette Paris trip!
Lets start with our iconic scene and pay our respects to Miss New York seeing Paris for the first time.
Good news for my students with a passport of my favorite color, maroon, we are bringing Paris to our home since we can't even imagine to go there!!Look how far the technology come, we don't have to trap our students in a class with a book which has been printed long before they were born. Now we can trap our students in a class with a electrical device which is younger than them and show them the other side of the world. The technologies we are talking about today are called AR/VR. Do I need to explain them? Ughhh, okay I will. AR (Augmented Reality) puts digital informations, datas, pictures onto real world and enhances it while VR (Virtual Reality) bring users into fully simulated environments. There you go, a quick google search will do that for you.
As teachers it is important for us to include these kind of technologies to our teaching materials. This way we can reach our students who have different learning styles such as visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic. You can always reach read/write kind of learners they are the Americans of the learning styles everything benefits them.
We applied these technologies with ASSURE in our minds, check out our lesson plan righhttttt here.
Also here are the handouts for our students, I learned how to create QR codes while preparing these pages. Incredible stuff, I feel like I can do anything now.
p.s. I **again** used my ex's name for an activity, it just doesn't feel complete if I don't do it. sorry.
